I decided to paid my tribute to a living history who is always there for us to guide us and to make a stand on moral issues that hounds our country. Former President Corazon Aquino also known to be called Tita Cory is an example of a loving and religious mother and a housewife. I was saddened by the latest news about her Colon Cancer and makes me sometimes ask our dear Creator, why good people like her? Why not those big crooks in the government first. Well as they say ‘Tao Lang’ or just human to ask such thing, but as I deeply think of it and do some Christian reflections, maybe God really has that very good reason why this things happens, and as everybody say, it happens for a reason.

Tony Meloto is a living Filipino Hero, and has touched so many lives, thus connecting the rich, middle class and specially the poor Pinoys through his vision and advocacy work in ‘Gawad Kalinga’.
He could have chosen a path wherein he could have engage or focus more in building his own business. But as a man of God, he had chosen to follow the footsteps of Christ himself and to serve the plight of the thousands of poor homeless Filipinos by providing them their own shelter that gave them dignity and the reason to live despite their conditions in life.
This man truly showed us the modern way of ‘Bayanihan’ (which is an old Filipino customs and tradition of helping each other), that we can still apply despite modern age of technology and fast changing way of life.
Hope his speech brings more inspirations for all us.

I was reading an online newspaper in the internet this morning and an article just caught my attention since Blogging and Internet was mentioned in connection to the current election results in Malaysia that was held just recently.
The current Prime Minister of Malaysia, had somewhat did not anticipate such new ways and techniques of doing mass media tactics and strategies like SMS and Blogging in their campaign strategies which had played a very important role in educating and reaching the vast majority of younger generation who are very much reachable in this medium.
However the Opposition candidate had this Blog that they maintain and that they always update all throughout the campaign, which is as a result, is almost like a viral thing that spreads throughout the web.
In the Philippines, Pinoy Bloggers are also fast becoming a very influential sector in the society, the power of citizen mass media through the internet, blogs and social network sites, just like what happened in Malaysia, can give us an idea that ordinary citizens and bloggers has the power to positively change this country in the way we ordinary Filipinos dream it to be.

Since it’s Holy Week I decided to share some thoughts that suddenly came to me while I was reading some articles in the Internet. During my younger years when I was still in my elementary days, studying in a Catholic School, I was really fascinated with priests reciting prayers in Latin. I just wonder if saying your prayers in Latin, though the language is quite foreign to other people’s ears, might be some way that you could be more focus on praying, since I think, just on my personal point of view, some people tend to put it more in their hearts since this kind of language is kinda ancient to them. But I still believe praying with focus, conviction and with all your heart on it, is still the best way to communicate with our Creator even if you do not use Latin as your medium.
However here are some famous prayers that you might want to recite and memorize in Latin.
