It’s really hard to think that a country like the Philippines with it’s rich natural resources, rich talented workforce (8 million talented people scattered across the globe), positive and happy people despite living on poor conditions, close keen family ties, a democratic type of government and with a nation whom of which are mostly God-fearing and religous people, still suffer from poverty and a depreciating moral society. Though we are learning from our past bad experiences and we may change the way we will decide on our state on the next years or decades to come, maybe through the next coming election, or by having some small advocate organization like Gawad Kalinga, civic organizations and NGO’s to fix some problem that already afflicted us, but still there is some sector in our society that are already deeply suffering mostly of our past mistakes. Who else, but our children and the young generation of today. That I think needs to be guided and molded in the manner that we want them to grow up as future fine citizens of this country. The way we dream of how our country would be in the next generation to come.
But the good news is that we have this movement called World Vision Philippines that help achieve to such vision, especially to those children who are not that so privileged enough to have the comfort of having the right proper care and education.
Those little changes we dream of our nation, I believe can be achieve, if we will just start even on that simple and little effort of way that we can give. And through World Vision Philippines, there seems to be a bright path for our Filipino children.
