I decided to paid my tribute to a living history who is always there for us to guide us and to make a stand on moral issues that hounds our country. Former President Corazon Aquino also known to be called Tita Cory is an example of a loving and religious mother and a housewife. I was saddened by the latest news about her Colon Cancer and makes me sometimes ask our dear Creator, why good people like her? Why not those big crooks in the government first. Well as they say ‘Tao Lang’ or just human to ask such thing, but as I deeply think of it and do some Christian reflections, maybe God really has that very good reason why this things happens, and as everybody say, it happens for a reason.
I believe It’s better to praise and pay tribute to people like Tita Cory while they are alive, I will not wait for that day that she is gone for me to express my deepest admiration to one great leader like Tita Cory. However like many of the millions of Filipinos and people around the world who prayed for her, I too wanted her as much as possible to live longer and further guide us into the right moral way, as an exemplar herself with her un-selfish devotion in reaching to us through her humble ways.
It would always enter my mind how lucky Senator Benigno Aquino or popularly known as Ninoy to have such a loving wife and a mother to their sons and daughter. And how lucky we Filipinos to have Tita Cory ,who despite her age still have her heart to help out and guide us Filipinos in our plight.
And I think the only thing that we can give to her in return is simply our prayers.
So please, let us give us sincere prayer for her recovery and also her wish for our country’s enlightment.

Sa amerika, being “yellow” means pagiging duwag.
Sa atin sa Pilipinas “yellow” ang kulay ng kalayaan at pagkakaisa. Yan ang isang regalo ni tita Cory sa atin. Sana ay gumaling siya sa kanyang pinagdadaanang karamdaman.
Naitanong ko na rin iyan sa aking sarili “why do bad things happen to good people?”
God has his own ways na kailangan nating tanggapin. Gaya ng pamangkin kong 4 years old na may Leukemia, buong pusong hinarap ng aming pamilya ang pagsubok.
Bad things happen to good people to test their faith. Wag lang tayong bibitiw at siguradong sasagutin ni God ang ating mga kahilingan.
Sa librong “Greater than our hearts” by st.paul publications, nabasa ko ang kwentong “BETWEEN FRIENDS” ang pamagat. Hindi ko alam kung meron nitong kopya sa internet pero isa ito sa simpleng kwento kung bakit dumadating ang pagsubok sa mga mabubuting tao.
have a nice day!
